A Girls Honesty

Let’s talk about the struggles of life together. The highs AND the lows. We weren’t made to do life alone, we were made to be in community with one another.

Don’t Tell Anyone.

Reality check: I’m a bit of an amateur with my website. The other day I was watching a video on Instagram of someone saying that you are far less likely to do something when you seek validation from others. For example, I wanted to start a blog, and before I told anyone, I researched how to build a website. I created an email and figured out what domain I wanted for my site. Of course, I saw the video after I had told my significant other I was starting my website and frankly, it scared me. My initial thought was that I didn’t want to tell anyone I wanted to create a blog especially because I will be talking about people and experiences in my life. I don’t want those around me to feel entitled to limit the authenticity of details in my life. Nor do I want to hear about how unfair it is of me to think a certain way or to find anything I am saying offensive. However, that is not the point of my blog. I believe the experiences I have gone through would help others who are going through something similar. I want others to be able to relate to someone who thinks like them. After all, we as humans always have something to say and something to think about. Why don’t we all think about it together?
